Changes

Just wanted to write a quick note about how much my life has changed from thos time last year.

A year ago I had to choose between buying food or paying bills. I was so depressed and stressed about the future, living with my mom and her tweeker boyfriend..

Fast forward a year; I have my own place, a steady full time position, health insurance, and Im getting ready to go to Las Vegas tomorrow for my job. How crazy to think things could improve so much in such a short time span.

Life really is beautiful, I have to remind myself all the time of how lucky I am.

A new year already?

It feels like 2011 went by so fast! 

So much changed for me over the last year, it seems unreal. Lots of good, and I am so thankful for that. I think I have finally re-found work that I enjoy. I know that management in foodservice is difficult, but hey if you know me you know I am too hard headed to turn down a challenge. 

I feel like I want to water this seed and see how big it grows. I am not intimidated by it, in fact I am intrigued! I want to further educate myself in management and have fun with it!

Heres to a great year ahead and making the best of every situation put in front of us. Life is what you make it!
